Both Richard Mays and Partner Arkie Byrd have served as cooperating attorneys with the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc., and the Arkansas American Civil Liberties Union. They both have storied legal histories in the advocacy of civil rights quality. These cases include decisions that racially desegregated the workforces of some of the state’s largest employers.
